Supplementary feed for calves with diarrhoea. Boviferm Plus SID provides the calf with electrolytes, buffering agents, lactic acid bacteria and bulking agents, for rehydratation in scours.

Uses

  • Optimum electrolyte and buffer supply - Removes threat of dehydratation and acidosis
  • Contains viable lactic acid bacteria - Restores intestinal microflora , so the calf recover faster
  • Contains bulking agents, mucins and pectins - Firms the stool, bind toxins, protect the mucosa
  • Excellent palatability - Ensures good acceptability and uptake
  • Compatible with milk or milk-replacer - Safeguards growth

Dosage and Administration

As Boviferm Plus SID contains viable lactic acid bacteria, the mixing temperature should not exceed 50°C.
  • Mix 1 sachet (115g) of Boviferm Plus SID into 2 liters of water twice per day.
  • Add ½ to 4 liters of milk or milk replacement to the solution.

Contra-Indications, Warnings, etc.

Because of the Selenium content, the maximum daily dosage of Boviferm Plus SID must not exceed 500g per animal.

Pharmaceutical Precautions

Store in a cool dry place.
